Greetings everyone. Prepare yourself for what you are about to hear....

We have decided that Lobotomy should meet its demise. That's right. No joke. Lobotomy is dead...or on it's death bed. We are possibly going to play an official farewell show so you can 'witness the insanity' one more time. But shortly enough, Lobotomy will officially be no more. It has been an amazing last couple of years. We went from playing parties with 5 people there, to Pop's and opening for Powerman 5000! Thanks a thousand times to everyone for all your support and belief in Lobotomy. It took us farther than we had planned or imagined. You have no idea how much it means to us. Word's can not describe the appreciation we hold. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

But there is a silver lining behind this, oh so dark, cloud. Brandon, Adam, Levi and myself have decided to embark on a new mission and start a new band. One that will exceed anything Lobotomy ever did before. We are very confident that this new band will put anything we ever did in Lobotomy to shame.

It is time to take things to a new level.We are determined to write better songs. We are determined to be more dedicated. We are determined to be heavier. We are determined to be more insane. We are determined to be more sick. We are determined to be as fucking brutal as we can be. We are determined to give everything we possibly can to this cause. 

So there you have it. Spread the word and wish us luck. I know this news isn't easy for some of you to take, but the four of us have talked about for hours and we truly believe this is the best decision for us. Hopefully when we get this new machine running, you will be behind us like you were with Lobotomy. Until next time.......

2/17- MAJOR NEWS! We have been confirmed to open for Powerman 5000 on May 10th at Ichabod's Club Cardinale in Effingham! I will post more details when I recieve them. This won't be a show to miss!

2/1- So this page hasn't been updated in a while, I apologize. We have been dedicating alot of our web-time to the evil world of MySpace. Check out our page at www.myspace.com.lobotomy1 if you are not already familiar with it. It seems to get more attention than this page does.

Moving along, we have been keeping rather busy as of late, though we are neglecting the stage for a while. We are presently focusing our energies on creating new material.  We can't wait to present it to the world. For those of you who are going to see us at any of our next three shows, be prepared!

Hopefully we will be back into the studio sometime next week to finish mixing our newest demo. It's looking like the  three songs In Me, Sick of... and Hate Obligation are going to be on it. Once again, we apologize for the rather extensive delay. I have been getting asked a lot about it over the past few months. But yes, hopefully within the next couple of weeks it will finally be ready for everyones ears. We also may be putting some live tracks on it as a nice gesture.

Let's see, there are some BIG potential shows coming up, but I won't say anything more than that right now. Just have to wait and see. We are keeping our fingers crossed! Keep your ears opened.

So that's pretty much the news for now. There are no intentions of slowing down in 2006. I just want to give the biggest thanks to everyone who has given us their support and everyone who believes in what Lobotomy has been and is doing. You made 2005 such a great year for us and I am sure 2006 will be no different. Horns to the sky!!!
